Changing my printer port - no licenses available?

I have an Epson 9600 and using Colorproof 3.0. The 9600 is on an USB port and we purchased a NIC card for it. Now, I would like to stop using the USB port and just have Colorproof print to the TCP/IP port. When I change the port in Windows and then change it in Colorproof 3.0 I get an error stating I do not have enough licenses.

I delete the output device, restart the server and create a new output device and get the same error.

How do I get it to stop thinking I am still using the USB?

windows (driver) has nothing to to with it.

i guess that you have the 9600 set as your lienarization device as well. try selecting another device there (try the ona at the very top :-)).

regards,

Thank you. That solved it. I had to remove the existing output device, change the Linerization Device and then create a new output device.

... again, thank you.
