Problem connecting to update server

Every time I try to connect to the update server through the Color Profiler Suite (version 2.0.0.71) I get an error connecting to the server. Last week we installed the software on a client in the EFI Academy in Ratingen, Germany on a client within the EFI network and the update works without any problem! We could download an install version 2.0.1.x.
How can I solve this issue? I tried several network connections to solve this problem, but it's the same error in every network. Maybe it's possible to download the new version directly from an EFI server without using the update server? There's still version 2.0.0.71 on efi.com website.

Also, in internet explorer, go to: Tools -> Internet options and then the Connections tab. Click on "LAN settings" and please tell us all of the info in the "Proxy Server" section.

Then click the "Advanced…" button in the proxy server section. Please tell us all of the info in the window (proxy addresses and ports for each type plus the content of the "exceptions" section.)

• MS Windowsupdate & the hypatia website works fine.
• There's no entry in the proxy server section

Could it be a problem with IE7 installed on my system?

Please try to ping "liveupdate.efi.com".

To ping, startMenu->run.
in the run window, type "cmd". This will open a MS Dos style window with prompt.
At the prompt, type "ping liveupdate.efi.com"

It's really strange! There was entry for a proxy server in the IE proxy server settings, but it was not enabled. After deleting the entry the update works!

The updater uses the proxy settings from IE. If they are incorrect, it will not be able to connect.

Hello,

The error with proxy server settings is corrected in versions 2.0.2.12 and higher. You can download the complete installer from EFI.com and install version 2.2.0.6.

Which version are you currently using?
