Help matching screen to output.

Hey all...

Now I fully understand that this a nightmare concept. I'd just like a little advice here.....

I have profiled my monitors with CPS and also the printer. I have loaded the printer profile into PShop CS3, and also onto the RIP, a Freeflow 6 and EFI server on a Xerox 700DCP.

Now I am pretty happy with the prints, BUT..... The screen is consistently lighter than the printed image. No matter what RIP I use, or Computer.

What have I set wrong here..????

Hello,
You may want to check which white point you used when profiling the monitor. For example you can have D50, D65 and D93. Also it will depend on the brightness and contrast settings you used.

If your monitor is set very bright, then the profile will profile that white point and it is possible that all your colors will look lighter on your screen than they do on the print.
