best colorproof key

Hello!

I bought the printer hp 5500 with a program best Colorproof XXL (i don't remember a version but I think is 4.0 or higher)but I do not have the hardware key to it. The previous owner lost it.
I have all the documents, license numbers. Is there a chance that he could use this program?

If he still hold the key, he still can use Best ColorProof.
If you have no key, you can not use the software. And you can not get the replacement key. In another words, you don't have ColorProof.

In such case he also cannot use Best Colorproof.

Ps: I don't understand the idea of your question. What are you trying to understand? Does the previous customer still use it? Are you trying to understand how can he do it? Can you give more information?

Strangely enough, I have the Key and not the software, can anyone help?
